I got my first dog, a miniature pinscher, when I was 17 years old. Her name was "Mitzi" and she was a tough but very friendly little dog. She lived well to the ripe old age of 15. In 1969 Stig and I bought a miniature poodle, "Corina", although she was actually closer to a standard poodle in size. We were young and impulsive so hadn't really checked out the kennel properly and hadn't a clue what her pedigree was, though she had one for sure. She lived until she was 14 years old.
We got our first cocker in the mid-1980's. Sadly, he only lived until he was 4 years old. In 1991 we bought Vitahotellets Herr Wallenberg, "Robin". He was an incredibly nice dog who passed away when he was 11 years old and he now rests in peace under our rhododendron bush. In 1993 we took in Vitahotellets Pang Pang Bom, "Kulan" for breeding. When she later became our own she had two litters with us. Since then our band of cockers has increased and in 1995 we started up our own kennel. Breeding is on a small scale with a goal of rearing sound dogs with very good temperaments.
We have both solid- and roan-coloured cockers. Our kennel is situated in an
area of natural beauty about 15km north of Kungälv, on the outskirts of
